i think it was shakespeare (or was it madonna?) who said hair is the stuff dreams are made of. maybe that’s why I enjoy running my fingers through the hair of the wealthy and fabulous. the movers and shakers. the bold and beautiful.  true confessions?  it’s my dream come true to make their dreams come true. to spin their desires into gold. because for the woman who has everything an exciting new look is the gift that keeps on giving – every time she sees her reflection in a mirror. that’s why here at the salon our motto is – whether your princess caroline of monaco or just taking a princess cruise – your hair is your number one accessory – why not make the most of it?

as the 100 degree days in dallas are subsiding (today excluded), it is time to start thinking about getting those tresses back in shape. your hair color speaks volumes about who you are. start with washing with arm and hammer baking soda, next use a deep conditioning treatment…please note: blonde hair natural or highlighted has too much moisture in most cases, choose a protein treatment as opposed to a moisturizing treatment. probably time to cut those crispy ends as well as a semi permanent hair color to revive you luster and get ready for a colorful fall.

after a summer of swimming in chlorinated swimming pools, or that public pool that is over chlorinated, sometimes people discover their hair may turn green due to the chlorine. the “magic” fix…take 2 tayer aspirin, crush them up in your hands, add shampoo to that and wash. the salicylic acid in the aspirin will counteract the alkalinity of the chlorine and remove the green almost immediately. tt is a wonder treatment especially for children…and in dallas we all have to appreciate a swimming pool.
